Haggai prophesied to Israel to rebuild the temple, and while they did, those who remembered Solomon’s temple were sad and disappointed. The new temple was nothing like the old one – morale was low with unmet expectations. What can we learn from this example about our own temple, expectations, and how to apply God’s promise that the new temple will have more glory than the former?
